Time to Eat!

Image
1a. I'm expecting the product to taste somewhat like a McDonald's Sausage McMuffin with Egg. It looks very similar and so that's what I thought of before initially trying it. 1b. The Jimmy Dean Delights seems to fit in my schedule in the morning. I ate it for breakfast in the office. I typically eat breakfast during the week about an hour or so after I've gotten in the office. I eat my breakfast between 9:30 - 10:00 and no one is involved. I usually get in the office and check my email, take care of some duties and then eat my breakfast. No one else is involved and I ate the product at my desk. That's what I usually do because it's convenient and I can still get work done while eating at my desk. 1c. I warmed up the product in the microwave but on the second day, I had to warm it up a little longer because it was not quite as hot as I would have liked. I liked the flavor, taste and texture. I felt like the egg was a little bigger that the bread and sausage. ...

1a. I chose the Smart Made meal because just based on the name, it gets my attention and makes me think it is healthier. The packaging says that it is made with real ingredients and it is low carb and high in protein. It has protein, vegetables and healthy carbs. I also chose the Halo Top ice cream because the packaging references the protein and it is a low calorie dessert that won't make me feel guilty when I eat it. b. I feel like these two brands along with Skinny Pop popcorn realize that people don't want to feel as though their being deprived of food. People still want to enjoy some of their favorite foods but want healthier options meaning lower salt, organic, and sometimes smaller portions. 2. I think diet soda has too much sugar and people think because it's diet it is healthy. I don't think soda is good for you period. Diet sodas are designed for people who still feel as though they need a soda everyday but want to ha...

Blog #2: Choices, Choices

1. My approach when it comes to food choices is eating less processed and fast food. I'm also trying to drink more water and stay away from sodas. I realize that there's a lot of sugar in sodas and the health problems that go along with eating fast food is what I want to stay away from. I don't want to be on medication and so making better food choices is the route I've taken to prevent high cholesterol and high blood pressure. My priorities are to eat healthier and make better decisions. I'm not a health fanatic but I believe you have to be smarter. Eating at a specific time is not that important to me. I know there are rules about what time you should eat breakfast and how you shouldn't eat dinner after a certain time to lose weight, but I don't get caught in that because I eat when I want to or can. I don't go eating burgers at 10:00 at night but if dinner isn't ready until 8:00 or I don't eat breakfast until 10:00, I feel there's no harm ...

My name is Avis and I'm married and have three children. I have two boys and a girl and their ages are 11, 7, and 5 going on 45. lol! I live in Atlanta but am originally from San Francisco. I work as a Client Services Representative for a company and my husband is an accountant. I like to travel, sing, listen to music, watch and play sports and have a good time. My sons are Boy and Cub Scouts so at the present time, that's been keeping me busy. We're finishing our big fundraiser of selling popcorn. My oldest son has sold $1000 worth of popcorn and the other son $1300. I've been a popcorn kernel and have been at most of the sales. It was fun, exciting but I'm glad it's about over. My passion is to help people who are in need whether it's with food, clothes or advice. I just want to be helpful. Another passion is my family. I love them and even when we get mad at each other, I only want the best for them and will do anything for them.  My husband...
