Time to Eat!

1a. I'm expecting the product to taste somewhat like a McDonald's Sausage McMuffin with Egg. It looks very similar and so that's what I thought of before initially trying it.

1b. The Jimmy Dean Delights seems to fit in my schedule in the morning. I ate it for breakfast in the office. I typically eat breakfast during the week about an hour or so after I've gotten in the office. I eat my breakfast between 9:30 - 10:00 and no one is involved. I usually get in the office and check my email, take care of some duties and then eat my breakfast. No one else is involved and I ate the product at my desk. That's what I usually do because it's convenient and I can still get work done while eating at my desk.

1c. I warmed up the product in the microwave but on the second day, I had to warm it up a little longer because it was not quite as hot as I would have liked. I liked the flavor, taste and texture. I felt like the egg was a little bigger that the bread and sausage. I would like for them to be the same size. Also, I wish there was cooking/timing instructions on the outside of each package. I realize it's on the box but if I'm taking an individual sandwich with me, I don't know how long I'm supposed to warm the product for. This is just to prevent it not being warm enough. It was surprising with how good it tasted. The sausage was very flavorful and I thought the texture of the egg was good. I think it met my expectations because I would expect Jimmy Dean to have a good quality product.

1d. I think the Delights product was a good change for me. My typical breakfast is yogurt and bacon or sausage, and I felt like this might've been a little bit more filling that what I eat regularly. It's better at being a little more filling than what I regularly eat and isn't worse. I could see myself eating it and giving to my family. The only problem is the price if I were to share them with my husband and or kids. It is very ideal to eat several days a week. This is one breakfast that my husband would share with me and there wouldn't be enough to go around.

1e. I feel Delights delivers on being a healthy option because the portion size is good, it has egg whites, the calorie count is low and the sodium is okay. It could improve if the bread was made with whole grains and the sodium was a little lower.

2. Delights mostly compares with my weekend breakfast when I might have scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, toast or biscuits. My breakfast on the weekend is mostly warm and maybe a little more filling than what I had.

b. I think it's a nice all in one option. You have to have access to a microwave which isn't a problem for most. It's a little better because you can eat it at your convenience and other than the egg being larger than the rest of the sandwich, it wasn't greasy,  and not messy. The price is a little better than if you go to a fast food restaurant and buy the same thing. It is important as far as the price point, it being a healthier option than at a fast food restaurant and convenient to eat when I want is important to me.

c. Delights will definitely have a place in my life because I will eat it because I liked it and my husband doesn't normally eat breakfast in the morning but he will eat the Delights plus he needs healthier because of health issues. I will eat in the morning for breakfast during the week and maybe on the weekend if I have to go to work early or need to take my kids somewhere and don't have time to make the breakfasts that we normally eat on the weekend.

d. Delights would have a chance in my life because I could feed this to my oldest son or kids. Because there are only four in a box and my family is a family of five, we would run out quickly.

3.

I feel a working mom like myself who is on the go would benefit from Delights. The person wants something quick, convenient, filling and a somewhat healthier option and Delights is the answer. I relate to this person because I'm a working mother who sometimes gets tired of the same thing, likes to have options, wants something convenient, doesn't break the bank and is a little healthier.

4. A completely new breakfast item for me is a breakfast omelette. I want the egg white omelette with sausage or ham and cheese. It is a little different than what is currently out there. I could warm it up in the microwave and eat it at my desk like I do everyday. The only problem is that it may be a little harder to eat on the go but that may not be what it's for.

a. My new item is an egg white omelette with ham and cheese or bacon and cheese or spinach, mushrooms and cheese. I would keep it kind of simple because the more ingredients you have can turn people off. When people see egg whites, they automatically think it's healthy and I think that's what makes it better and different. It also has to be something people would like to eat but feel they don't have the time to prepare it from scratch at home.  It would speak for itself. I would eat it for breakfast and it would replace my yogurt or days when I have grits and sausage or bacon.

b. I think Delights meals should have low calories, made with whole wheat grains if it includes bread, should be lower in sodium, have high protein and deliver a great taste and homestyle texture. It should replicate something you would eat at home and advertise that it's a healthier option, is convenient, tastes great without breaking the bank and it's satisfying.

5. Are you tired of eating the same thing for breakfast everyday? Do you want to eat a healthy, satisfying and delicious breakfast? Are you short of time and eat on the go? Well look no further than Jimmy Dean Delights meals for breakfast. Whether it's a croissainwich on Monday, Frittata on Tuesday or a breakfast bowl on Wednesday, Jimmy Dean Delights meals has you covered. These meals can be warmed at your convenience, are low calories and will keep you satisfied for hours. Be Delighted with Jimmy Dean Delights.
